Black & White

This week pretty much marks the end of summer in my books.  Okay, it's not officially the end of summer, but with classes starting, and finally, some nice, breezy weather in Pennsylvania, all I can think about is Fall!
My classes at a local college started on Monday, and well, they seem as though they will go quite well.  I'm sure I'll have the normal stresses of exams, especially midterms, and finals, but hey, that's how school works.
This skirt I actually purchased at a hookah lounge/bar in State College, Pa.  My mom excitedly walked into the shop because, well, for one thing, she is a cool mom, and she also acknowledged how cool some of the clothing was.  No, we did not go in for the hookah lounge, but for the shopping.  The prices were quite reasonable, possibly even cheap, but I find it hard to consider items that are more than $5 at a thrift store, cheap.  The skirt was $15, which is definitely a pretty good deal.

Also, notice that I'm wearing a cardigan?! The weather in Pennsylvania is quite perfect right now!

New shoes

Yikes, my last post on here was on July 29th!  I had quite a few stressful, important things to deal with in the past few weeks, so all I can really say is that I'm back, and hope to be posting much more frequently!
Both the dress, and shoes in this post were recently thrifted (less than a week ago) while shopping at the goodwill outlet in Shillington, Pennsylvania.  I know many people aren't aware of this, but goodwill has outlet locations where all the unwanted items from other local goodwills are sent, and are then thrown into bins for cheaper prices.  I've been going to the goodwill outlet in Shillington with my mom since I was about 5 years old, and well, my mom and I have made these trips into a tradition for us.  The price of the items is $0.85 which is cheap... but, my mom and I frequently joke about how "expensive" it has gotten seeing that items used to be priced at $0.50!
I absolutely adore this dress, as well as these shoes, and cannot wait to wear them throughout the coming seasons.  Wouldn't this dress be cute in the fall, especially?

If you're looking for a Goodwill outlet in your area check out their website here.  The website is quite hard to navigate, but it does give you the option to search for a clearance center in your area.  Hope that helps!

Dress: J.Crew (thrifted for $0.85!)
