Since it was New Year's Eve, it only made sense to wear some of the items which I had been dying to wear since I purchased them. I believe it was the first time that I had the opportunity to wear both the dress and the sweater! New Year's Eve is definitely the time to play dress up, and wear those special pieces.
The dress and sweater are two of my favorite vintage pieces. I found this cute vintage dress at a thrift store in Bethlehem, Pa, and it was half off, meaning that it was $3 since the store was going out of business! The vintage sweater with a fur collar was purchased at one of my absolute favorite events in Philly, the Punk Rock Flea Market. It is put on by a group called R5 Productions (who also put on really great concerts...), and is held twice a year. The winter one just happened about a month ago, and there should be another one coming in the spring/summer. Anyway, this sweater has gorgeous detailing; the fur collar, and the flower detailing on the back make this piece so special.

THE PARADERS
The sweater and collar are gorgeous! Love the contrast between the black and white. Also, the pop of red from your heels and matching lips!
Is it very difficult to layer 2 pairs of tights or are they thinner ones?
I LOVE the back of your dress! It's so pretty. Happy new year! xo

These weren't too hard to layer because they're both relatively thin, but I have tried it with thicker tights before (when it's been extra cold outside) and it actually isn't too difficult. Hope that helps!
This dress is gorgeous, and what a bargain. Completely timeless.
